Film Making with Young People

Join the Young Irish Film Makers team for a day-long workshop to develop basic, practical and creative skills in film making when working with young people in youth work settings. This workshop will cover a range of skills required to deliver a film making programme and explore how to write, crew and shoot a short film while maintaining a youth work centred approach.

Join us on September 18th to develop creative new approaches to film making that will enhance your work with young people!

Please note that this event is for youth workers, artists and practitioners aged over 18 and working with young people in Cavan or Monaghan.

Young Irish Film Makers

Young Irish Film Makers (YIFM) is the national film, animation and digital media organisation for young people across Ireland. Our mission is to make filmmaking and animation accessible to all young people. YIFM runs programmes in filmmaking and animation for young people aged 10 – 24 years across Ireland. We work with young people to develop their creativity, talent and life skills, delivering workshops that put them in the driving seat of their creative future.
